Colonial Treasury. Colony of Martinique. Decree of August 18, 1884. Third Type. Issued note on January 19, 1895. Dimensions: 97 x 78 mm. Banknote without watermark. Front and back: print in red on light beige paper. Printer: Colonial Printing Office. Front: vignette composed of a frame of geometric figures in rhombus. The value "UN FRANC" is printed at the center of the note. A space is reserved for numbering. Two stamps are affixed to the note. The signatures are handwritten and signed in black or purple. One type of signatures with the Director of the Interior and the Treasurer-Payer. At the bottom of the note, the words "La contre-valeur en espèces est déposée au Trésor". Back: frame in which the value "1" is repeated four times in the corners. No known specimens. The only banknote found is the one in photo. Very rare !
