Two-color front and back printing in black for text and purple for background on thick white paper. Printer: Unknown. Front: Two francisques left and right above the value "1F". The wording "BANQUE DE LA REUNION" in the middle of the note and one signature printed with The Director: H. Poulet. Back: Stylized exotic landscape in purple background and value "1" in all four angles. The wording "BANQUE DE LA REUNION" in the middle and the words "ISSUE AUTHORIZED BY DECREE OF OCTOBER 8, 1942". Below, the value in letters "UN FRANC". 150,000 issued bonds. Proof in purple from the bottom without any text. Proof of the back with the texts. No known specimens.
