Printer: Art Institute Orell Füssli AG, Zurich. Dimensions: 90 x 50 mm. No watermark. No security thread. Front and back: print predominantly blue and olive green. On the front: frame composed of rosettes and ornaments. On a background of wavy lines in blue, the wording, the value in letters and the Decree of the Federal Council of May 27, 1938 are printed in black and in three languages: German, French and Italian. The numbering is printed in black at the bottom of the thumbnail in a cartridge. The value "1" is repeated twice in white on the sides. In the center at the top, the Swiss cross in white is placed on the frame. No signatures. On the back: on a blue and olive green background composed of rosettes and ornaments, the value "1" in white is arranged roughly in the center of a rosette in the shape of a flower. Around, the value in letters is printed in three languages: French, German and Italian. On the sides in the center, the Swiss cross in white.
