Bank of Martinique. No date (1947) modified 1960 and identical to the Pick: # 31 but with the watermark overprinted in blue "CONTRE-VALEUR DE 1 NOUVEAU FRANC". Work of William Fel. Dimensions: 164 x 88 mm. Watermark with a woman's head wearing a Phrygian cap. Front and back: multicolored printing. Front: The word "MARTINIQUE" repeated four times and the value "100" are printed in red. Numbering and signature printed in black. On the left, portrait of La Bourdonnais, french navigator of the eighteenth century and on the right two women in traditional costume. One signature: The Director General: A. Postel-Vinay. Back: female bust in profile wearing jewelry in front of a mountainous landscape of Martinique. On the left, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in a red cartridge. Specimen of the issued note signed and numbered O.0 - 00000 with "SPECIMEN" diagonally perforated in the center of the note and sometimes overloaded with two damp black pads in the corners. Another specimen of the type issued signed and numbered in the alphabet A.52 overprinted with two damp black pads in the corners.
