Bank of Guadeloupe. No date (1947) modified 1960 and identical to the Pick: #35 but with the watermark overprinted in blue "CONTRE-VALEUR DE 1 NOUVEAU FRANC". Work of William Fel. Dimensions: 164 x 88 mm. Watermark with a woman's head wearing a phrygian cap. Front and back: multicolored printing. Front: the word "GUADELOUPE" repeated three times in the margin and the value "100" are printed in red. The numbering and the signature are printed in black. On the left, portrait of La Bourdonnais, french navigator of the eighteenth century and on the right two women in traditional costume. One signature: The Director General: A. Postel-Vinay. Back: female bust in profile wearing jewelry in front of a mountainous landscape of Martinique. On the left, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in a red cartridge. Specimen of the issued note signed and numbered O.0 - 00000 with "SPECIMEN" diagonally perforated in the center of the bill and sometimes overprinted with two damp black pads in the corners. Another specimen with wet stamp in blue on a #51 alphabet note.
