About :#30 - 1 NF/50 francs St-Pierre-and-Miquelon Type 1960

Saint Pierre-and-Miquelon. No date (1946) modified. Issue of 1960. Work of William Fel. Dimensions: 144 x 78 mm. Watermark with Ceres head in profile on the right. Front and back: multicolored printing. Front: The "LA REUNION" overprints are canceled and crossed by horizontal black lines on the front and back. The wording and value in numbers and letters are printed in brown. The numbering, the signature and the two surcharges "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON" are printed in black. The "CONTRE-VALEUR DE 1 NOUVEAU FRANC" surcharge is printed in blue at the watermark location. On the left, portrait of Belain d'Esnanbuc, French settler and buccaneer at the origin of the French presence in the West Indies. On the right a caravel sailing at full speed on the ocean. One signature: The Director General: A. Postel-Vinay. Back: Naked woman wearing jewelry and tribal decorations in front of a village hut. On the right, article 139 of the Penal Code printed in a clear cartridge. The "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON" overprint repeated twice is printed in black. Specimen of the issued note signed and numbered O.0 - 000 with surcharge "SPECIMEN" and a specimen number below. Other specimen signed and numbered O000 - 00000 with "SPECIMEN" overprinted by oblique perforation and two wet black pads on the sides. Known specimen without perforations. The surcharges "LA REUNION" are barred on the front of a single thick black line and the surcharge "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON" is printed twice vertically on the margin.
