Front: print in purple and red with a red security background with the word "GUADELOUPE" repeated continuously. Two vertical "GUADELOUPE" surcharges in red printed next to the "10" value repeated on the left and right of the bill. Dialing in red and labels in purple. In the center, in a dark green oval, is a portrait of Marianne wearing a phrygian cap in profile. Marine anchors with cross of Lorraine on both sides of the figure. Two signatures: The Chief Executive Officer: A. Postel-Vinay and The Chairman of the Supervisory Board: J. Leclerc. Back: guilloche in the corners against a gradient green safety background and in an oval, the Article 139 of the Penal Code framed by the value "10" repeated left and right. Known specimen with "SPECIMEN" overprinted and cancellation perforation on signatures and numbered GB 000,000. Another specimen with overprint in blue in the lower margin on the front. Series: GB 000.001 to GB 1.000.000 - GC 000.001 to GC 1.000.000 - GD 000.001 to 1.000.000 - GE 000.001 to GE 1.000.000 - GF 000.001 to GF 1.000.000. In December 1973, 772,031 copies were not returned.
