Front: in the foreground, a portrait of the mathematician and physicist Swiss "Leonhard Euler (1707-1783)," according to a 1753 painting of the portrait Handmann Emanuel (1718-1781). In the background, multicolored composition of intertwined round shapes and wavy lines with the representation of an ideal gear profile, which Euler used to illustrate logical reasoning. On the outside of the illustration, a red dot in relief is intended to facilitate the recognition of the note by the blind. The value "10" is printed in the middle of the thumbnail. This value is repeated smaller in the lower right corner. Ten issue dates and twelve signature variants with the Chairman of the Board and a member of the Executive Board. Back: this is the first time that the composition is proposed in vertical. Both signatures are printed in yellow. The value "10" is printed roughly and red in the vignette representing a view of the solar system, a water turbine and a pattern of propagation of light rays passing through lenses. The banknote number is repeated twice outside and inside the illustration and printed in black. A note is known with two different numbers on the back: "80F5025569" and "80F5025769". The first two digits preceding the serial number letter indicate the date of issue. Known specimen perforated "SPECIMEN" in vertical, overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red and oblique on both sides. A three-digit specimen number is printed in black near the perforation. The banknote is still refundable until 02-05-2020. Other Reference: TBB (The Banknote Book): B337.
