About #33 - 10 NF/500 francs Pointe à Pitre Type 1960
Saint Pierre-and-Miquelon. No date (1946) modified. 1960 issue. Work of Clément Serveau. Dimensions: 180 x 96 mm. Watermark with a woman's head wearing a Phrygian cap. Front and back: multicolored printing. Front: The label and value in numbers and letters are printed in dark blue. The two surcharges "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON", the numbering and the signature are printed in black. The "CONTRE-VALEUR DE 10 NOUVEAUX FRANCS" surcharge is printed in red at the location of the watermark. On the right, a Martinican woman and a Guadeloupian woman pose in front of the port of Point-à-Pitre. One signature: The Director General: A. Postel-Vinay. Back: Ox carts carrying sugar cane. At the bottom, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in a yellow cartridge. The "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON" surcharge is repeated twice in black and the values in "500" are printed in dark blue. Specimen of the issued note signed and numbered O.00 - 00000 with "SPECIMEN" by perforations and vertical wet black pads on the front and back. Banknotes found: A.9-05577, A.9-48901, A.9-50973, A.9-51048, A.9-52682, A.9-53522, A.9-58227, A.9-58364 A.9-58611, A.9-67964, A.9-84479, A.9-84950, A.9-85630. In June 1964, 97,167 banknotes were sent to Saint-Pierre-and-Miquelon.
