Bank of Morocco. Provisional issue of 1959 in Dirhams and francs. Work by A. Maillart / Rafine and engraving by J.Piel / G. Beltrand for the front and A. Maillart and engraving by J. Piel / G. Poilliot for the back. Dimensions: 185 x 120 mm. Watermark: A lion's head in profile. Multicolored front and back printing on white paper. The note is identical to Pick # 50 but with a surcharge on the back of "CENT DIRHAMS" in red in the center and in Moroccan on the watermark. Front: Aerial view of the city of Casablanca and its commercial port in the background. The initial value in figures and the mention "State Bank of Morocco" are printed in dark blue. The numbering and the alphabet are repeated at the bottom and at the top in the corners and are printed in black, as well as the date of issue. The value in letters "DIX MILLE FRANCS" is printed in red. Back: View of the summer palace of the Sultan of Marrakech. All texts are printed in dark blue. One type of signatures: Guessous / Spitzer / Oudot. No known specimens.
