About #PNL3 - 100 francs Blue and Red type 1874
Bank of Martinique. No date (1874). First issue in 1899. Printing of texts in red and blue frame to the identical front and back. Work of Cornouaille on the front. Dimensions: 205 x 115 mm. Watermark with the value "100" repeated twice. Front: vignette composed of cornucopias and symbolic motifs. On the right, the strain in English typography is cut out. Only one type of signature with The Director, The Cashier and One of the Censors. The numbering and the alphabet are printed in blue. The signatures are printed in black. The penal code article is printed in white in two red medallions. Back: identical to the front. Unsigned specimen numbered O.0-000 or A0.000. Two known copies: K.1-42 and T.1-548 which also illustrates the book of Dr. Kolsky: "The D.O.M-T.O.M Banknotes", published in 2006, 280 pages. Slab PCGS 12. Unknown Pick note and Unassigned (= NA).
