Description on the front: a view of the Manjakamiadana (Queen's Palace) in Antananarivo. In the foreground, a young Madagascan woman dressed in white. Group of women carrying jugs on their heads. Composition of tropical fruits on the left under an octagonal watermark. The texts are in French. The front is overprinted "COMOROS" in red horizontally. The wording of the issuing institute "BANQUE DE MADAGASCAR ET DES COMORES", the value in letters and numbers, the signatures and the numbering are printed in black. Three variants of signatures are known to the Chairman and CEO and the Deputy CEO. Description of the back: texts in French. Frame composed of decorative geometric shapes. In the foreground on the left, a young Madagascan. In the background, pirogue boats with sails on the sea and Zebus drinking at the water's edge.
