Watermark: profile of a Moorish woman in a large medallion on the left. In a small medallion on the right: watermark with 100 francs in Arabic in a crescent. Front and back: polychrome print, predominantly purple. Description of the front: in the foreground on the left, two young naked boys. The first sits on the ground and holds in his hand a traditional bendir, a percussion instrument. The other boy, standing, picks berries from a bush. On the right, a camel driver armed with his moukhala, a traditional Maghreb rifle, rests with his mount squatting beside him. The wording of the issuing institute "BANQUE DE L'ALGÉRIE", the value "CENT FRANCS" and the date of issue are printed in dark red in the center at the top. The signatures, numbering and date of issue are printed in black. Bottom center, in a decorated medallion, the value "100" and article 139 of the Penal Code printed in purple in an orange-yellow cartridge. Four signature variants are known with The Managing Director, The Chief Cashier and The Secretary General. Description of the back: an allegory of France represented by a young woman seated under an olive tree. Beside her on the left is a sword, an open book she seems to be pointing to, and scrolls of parchment in the grass. She puts her other hand on the shoulder of a young naked child who hands him an orange. Near the child on the right, two large jars and a bunch of fruit on the ground. At the bottom, in a pediment, the value “100” is printed twice in red-pink with an inscription in Arabic in the center. Three uniform tests of the front on non-watermarked paper are known: W. 122-287 dated from 27-5-1921, W. 123-287 dated from 28-5-1921 and W. 125-287 dated from 31- 5-1921. The specimen is known as overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red on the watermark in vertical on the left on the front. The ticket is watermarked, signed Moyse / Picard / Penalva, dated "6-3-9128" and not numbered. A second specimen identical to the previous one is known, but dated "41-11-9132" and numbered "0.0000 - 000". A last specimen identical to the first is known, but dated "3-1-9136" and numbered "A.1291 - 001" or "B.1291 - 001". Two unpublished complete proofs and unknown of the Muszynski-Kolsky's book, are presented front and back on a fiduciary paper with large margins, without watermark. They are pasted on a cardboard page with windows, numbered "0.00 - 000" and dated, one from "62-1-1291" and the other from "82-1-1291". The two proofs include the handwritten signature in pencil of the engraver Deloche!
