State Bank of Morocco. American impressions. Printer: E.A. Wright Bank Note Co. of Philadelphia. Dimensions: 177 x 101 mm. No watermark. Multicolored front and back printing on white paper. Front: Composition of columns and walls decorated with arabesques opening on a view of the gateway to the city of Meknes. The value in figures is repeated twice in octagonal cartridges with a light blue background on the sides. The mention "State Bank of Morocco" is placed on a line at the top in a yellow cartridge. The value in letters and numbers, the numbers, the alphabets and the article of law are printed in black. Back: Multicolored printing. Vignette composed of abstract figures and arabesques with two large stars of David arranged in circular medallions on the sides. All texts are printed in dark green. The three signatures are printed in the center. The value in figures is repeated twice in the corners at the bottom on the sides. The specimen is known with a red stamp surcharge, dated and numbered 000-0-000 on A1-000 note. Another known specimen with overprint of a black "SPECIMEN" stamp affixed by hand on the front and back on bills that have circulated (beware of false surcharges possible). Another known specimen with overprint of a red "SPECIMEN" stamp obliquely on the front and back, dated 1-3-44 and numbered.
