The note is dated September 22, 1960. Front and back polychrome print, predominantly brown, pink and green. Texts in French. Description of the front: security background in brown, green and pink gradient and with repeating patterns. Guilloche frame with the value "100" printed in rosettes in the lower corners. At the top, the words "BANK OF THE REPUBLIC OF MALI" are printed in brown on a frieze. The banknote number and issue date are printed in black. The value in letters and the signatures are printed in brown next to a brown rosette. Below, two earth moving scrappers. At the bottom, the article of the penal code is printed on a line near the frame. On the right, an official portrait of President Modibo Keita. A single combination of signatures with the Minister of State, Jean-Marie Koné, The Minister of Finance, Attaher Maïga and The Governor of the Bank, Alpha Oumar Cissé.
