Front: multicolored graphic background with in the foreground an architectural motif of the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome. On the right, a portrait of the Italian architect and major figure of Baroque architecture "Francesco Borromini (1599-1667)". The SNB's translation texts are printed in dark blue and in two languages: French and Italian. The value in figures "100" is printed in very large in the center of the vignette and repeated four times in small in red and purple. On the outside of the illustration, the four vertical bars in relief are intended to facilitate the recognition of the note by the blind. The signatures are printed in light blue. Two variants of signatures with the President of the Bank Council and the Director. On the back: multicolored graphic background with a representation of the cupola of the Roman Baroque church Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza and a floor plan of the Church of St. Charles of the Four Fountains of Rome. The value in figures "100" is repeated four times in small in green and purple. In the thumbnail at the top, bottom and sides, the SNB texts are printed in dark blue in three languages: German, Romansh and Italian. No specimens known to date. A fresh watermarked proof (PMG GEM UNC 65 EPQ), numbered "1234589" of the "76N" Series was offered for sale at Sincona, Auction # 25 of October 14, 2015, (lot # 2100). This same proof achieved the price of CHF 13000 at Palombo house, Auktion # 17 of October 20, 2018 (lot # 669). Unique and rare. Exemplary known: 85D2014068.
