Dimensions: 169 x 97 mm. Date: 02-02-1953. No security thread. Material: paper. Texts in Dutch. Description of the front: Front and back printing predominantly dark brown. At center left, the name of the bank. Below, watermark in a rosette. At right, a portrait of Erasmus, Desiderius (1469-1536), humanist after miniature by Hans Holbein jr (1497-1543). Around the portrait: hourglass, ink well, dissection knife and heart-shaped vase with flowers, cityscape Rotterdam. Value 100 in white in a rosette. At bottom, value in letters, signatures, Amsterdam and date in dark brown near the margin. Signatures: Secretaris, De Jong / President, Holtrop. Description of the back: brown, red and yellow. Security background with guilloche patterns in repetition. At center left, Phoenix rising from flames, stylized, monogram on the chest, value on wings. At right, the text of Law inside a multicolor rosette. Series letters and banknote number are printed in black and repeated two time.
