Conjoined portrait King Albert I and Queen Elisabeth II at left in a medallion. Seated woman in robe reclining a cornucopia at right. Back: Coats of arms of East Flanders and woman making lace. Cloth Hall in Ypres. Watermark: King Leopold I in profile. Like subsequent issues, but signatures on front only. 3 signatures varieties: Henry Stacquet / Louis Franck, Henri Sontag / Louis Franck and Henri Sontag / Georges Janssen. Banknote number, signatures and date are printing in black. Dimensions: 223 x 135 mm. Printer: BNB (Banque Nationale de Belgique). No security thread. Dutch and French texts. Banknote designed by Guillaume Minguet and Jean-François Freund. Without "TRESORERIE / THESAURIE" overprints.
