The issuing institute "FRENCH TERRITORY OF AFARS AND ISSAS - PUBLIC TREASURE" is printed in black in the center of the drawing. The numbering is printed in black. The watermark is shown in a circular medallion on the right. The value in figures is printed in black on a yellow background in the upper corners. The banknote is not signed. Description of the back: background composed of repetitive graphic shapes. Texts in French and Arabic. The wording of the issuing institute "FRENCH TERRITORY OF AFARS AND ISSAS - PUBLIC TREASURE" is again indicated in the center in the upper frame. In the center, a caravan of camels led by a man on a desert background of mountains and vegetation. The article of the penal code is printed in blue in a yellow rectangle at the bottom.
