No security thread. Watermark: woman's head. Printer: Bank of France. Front and back: multicolored print, mainly yellow and green. Description of the front: In the foreground, a couple of the highlands of Madagascar dressed in white. The man is wearing a hat. Floral composition background. The texts are in French. The front is overprinted "COMOROS" in red horizontally. The wording of the issuing institute "BANQUE DE MADAGASCAR ET DES COMORES", the value in letters and numbers are printed in dark blue. The signatures and numbering are printed in black. Two variants of signatures are known with The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and The Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Description of the back: texts in French. A man leads a team drawn by two zebus and carries a couple against the backdrop of a mountain landscape. Article 139 of the penal code is printed in the lower left on five lines. The specimen is known overprinted "SPECIMEN" in black diagonally and perforated "SPECIMEN" in vertical and numbered "O.000 - 000000000".
