Front and back: multicolored print, mainly green and blue. Description of the front: a young Comorian woman poses in front of the coastline and the mountains of Anjouan. The texts are in French. The label "ISSUING INSTITUTE OF COMOROS" and the value in figures are printed in dark blue on the upper border. The value in letters is printed in red. The signatures and numbering are printed in black. Only one type of signature with General Manager Claude Panouillot and The Chairman of the Board of Directors Mikidache Abdoul Rahim. Description of the back: texts in French and Arabic. Two women carry baskets on their heads against a background of local landscape. Another woman wearing a Kanga picks ylang-ylang flowers from a Cananga. Article 139 of the penal code is printed at the bottom in five lines in a light green frame. The specimen is known overprinted "SPECIMEN" in black diagonally and perforated "SPECIMEN" in vertical and numbered "O.00 - 000000000".
