Comoros. Central Bank of Comoros. 1984-1994 Issues. Work by Pierrette Lambert. Dimensions: 150 x 80 mm. No security thread. Watermark: crescent moon and Maltese cross. Printer: Bank of France. Front and back: multicolored print, mainly green and blue. Description of the front: a young Comorian woman poses in front of the coastline and the mountains of Anjouan. The texts are in French. The label "CENTRAL BANK OF COMOROS" and the value in figures are printed in dark blue in the upper border. The value in letters is printed in red. The signatures and numbering are printed in black. Three variants of signatures are known to the Chief Executive Officer (or The Governor) and The Chairman of the Board of Directors. Description of the back: texts in French and Arabic. Two women carry baskets on their heads against a background of local landscape. Another woman dressed in a Kanga picks ylang-ylang flowers from a Cananga. Article 139 of the penal code is printed at the bottom in five lines in a light green frame.
