State Bank of Morocco. Banknote issued in 1921. Work of G. Fraipont. Dimensions: 228 x 128 mm. Watermark: Lion's head in profile above the figure "1000".Multicolored printing on white paper. Front: Very rich graphic composition with arabesques and tracery including three monograms "BEM" in green octagons and three stars of David in decorated circles. The mention "State Bank of Morocco" is printed in blue on a line in a light blue cartouche at the top of the bill. The creation date, the numbering and the alphabet are printed in black in beige cartridges. In the center, the value in letters with the mention "MILLE FRANCS" in dark blue. Under the value, a view of the city of Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. The value in digits "1000" is printed in yellow below the watermark on the left. The law article is printed at the bottom of the bill in a blue cartridge. Back: Very beautiful frame decorated with floral motifs on a beige and green security background with continuous patterns. All texts are printed in dark red. The value in digits "1000" is printed in green below the watermark on the right. Five variants of signatures.
