Watermark with Marianne's head turned to the left. No security thread. Front and back: printing of the frame and labels in dark blue. Safety background in pink and green gradient with the number "1000" in continuous repetition. On the front: the value "1000" is repeated in white on the left and right of the ticket. Numbering printed in red (first emission) and in black (second emission). Signatures, values ​​in letters and labels are printed in dark blue. In the center of the cut, a white phoenix rises from the ashes. Two signatures: The Managing Director: André Postel-Vinay and The Chairman of the Supervisory Board: James Leclerc. On the back: on the left, traces of the war with ruins and on the right, the symbol of reconstruction. In the center, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed above the value "1000" and then the Ordinance of February 2, 1944 in small characters at the very bottom in the center. The specimen is known to only 54 copies with a red "SPECIMEN" overprint diagonally and a perforation "114" backwards. Catalog copy: "TD 075,023".
