Printer: Art Institute Orell Füssli AG, Zurich. Dimensions: 228 x 125 mm. No watermark. No security thread. Front and back: Multicolored purple print. Front: bottom composed in the center of a multicolored rosette. Around, a purple frame composed of rosettes and ornaments. The numbering is repeated twice and printed in black. The SNB's translation texts and the values in letters are printed in black on the front and in three languages: German, French and Italian. The issue date and signatures are printed in black. The value "1000" is repeated three times at the corners in rosettes and in the center of the note. On the left in the center, the Swiss cross in white in a large medallion. Top right, medallion portrait of a young woman. Three variants of signatures with The Cashier, The Chairman of the Board of the Bank and The Director. On the back: purple and blue frame composed of rosettes and ornaments with the value in figures "1000" repeated in the corners. In the center, a turbine is put forward between a tank and a power station with in the background a landscape of mountain. In the box at the top and bottom and on the sides, the SNB texts in three languages: German, French and Italian. Known specimen signed and numbered "s / n 1F 000000" with the surcharge "SPECIMEN" in red diagonally on the front and horizontally on the back. Copies found: 1P 010002, 1P 010004, 1P 010010.
