Switzerland. Swiss National Bank (Schweizerische Nationalbank). Seventh issue (1983-1985). Banknote created in 1985 but not issued and kept in reserve. Work of Roger and Elisabeth Pfund. Printer: Art Institute Orell Füssli AG, Zurich. Dimensions: 192 x 86 mm. Unknown watermark. Unknown security thread. Front and back: Multicolored purple print. Front: multicolored graphic background composed of a surface of a shellfish and in the foreground on the right, a portrait of the botanist, zoologist, ichthyologist and geologist "Jean-Louis Rodolphe Agassiz (1807-1873)". The SNB's translation texts are printed in purple and in two languages: French and Italian. The value in "1000" is printed in the center of the thumbnail and repeated four times in small in dark blue and red. On the outside of the illustration, the two vertical bars in relief are intended to facilitate the recognition of the note by the blind. The signatures are printed in purple. Two variants of signatures with the President of the Bank Council and the Director. On the back: multicolored graphic background representing fish scales. In the foreground, a Perche head and its skeleton, a fossil and an ammonite. The value "1000" is repeated four times in small in red and blue. In the thumbnail at the top, bottom and sides, the SNB texts are printed in dark blue in two languages: German and Italian. The banknote number is printed in red and black.
