Windowed security thread with printed CEMAC. Printer: Oberthur Fiduciaire. New safety sign intended to prevent reproduction with the impression of small yellow circles also called "Omron rings". The note was put into circulation from 24-11-2003. Multicolor printing on front and back. Texts in French. Description of the front: in the center at the top, the words "BANK OF CENTRAL AFRICAN STATES" are printed in blue on two lines. The full banknote number is printed twice in black and blue at the top and bottom of the drawing. The letters "F" in black on the sides indicate the country of issue code for Equatorial Guinea. In the center, a logging scene and on the right the portrait of a young man in blue. The value in letters "THOUSAND FRANCS" is printed in blue in the center at the bottom in a frieze. Description of the back: in the center at the top, the label of the issuing institution "BANK OF CENTRAL AFRICAN STATES" is printed in blue on two lines. The value "1,000" is printed in blue in the upper corners. In the center, an agricultural scene with a zebu in the foreground. Four combinations of signatures printed in blue with The Governor and A Auditor. On the right, the watermark and below in a frieze, the year of issue "2002" printed in blue.
