No security thread. Note printed by sheet of four copies with an identical sheet number. The banknote number is repeated twice and printed in red at the top. The note has two small black Check Letters positioned under the olive-green value "TWO" and under the seal on the right. The serial letter is printed in red on the left of the number. The issue of the 2 Dollars Type 1923 is divided into four groups. Front and back: printing in black and olive green. Front: a frame with the value "2" in rosettes printed in the corners. In the center, a portrait of Edward, Prince of Wales with the words "The Dominion of Canada" printed horizontally above. Below, the value "TWO DOLLARS" is printed horizontally in a black cartridge. Four variants of signatures with The Controller of the Currency and The Minister of Finance. This type of bill is characterized by the different colors of the seal of the Department of Finance printed on the right of the portrait. Back: composition of rosettes printed in green olive monochrome. In the center, the coat of arms of Canada and above, the mention "Dominion of Canada". The value "2" is printed in the corners and in two rosettes on the sides of the central drawing.
