Monochrome print in black on yellow or pink-gray paper. Printer: Unknown. Front: Vignette composed of a frame of geometric patterns with the value "2" repeated in the corners. The value in letters "BON POUR DEUX FRANCS" is printed at the center of the note. No numbering. Two signatures: The Delegate of the Director of the Interior: Campenon and The Treasurer Payer: Veyrières. At the bottom of the note, the words "La contre-valeur en espèces est déposée au Trésor". No known specimens. Banknote very rare !Counterfeit banknote like the copy in illustration: the date is false, 4 June 1884 instead of 8 July 1884!
