Front and back printing in two colors in black for text and orange for background on thick white paper. Printer: Unknown. Front: Two francisques left and right above the value "2F". The wording "BANQUE DE LA REUNION" in the middle of the note and one signature printed with The Director: H. Poulet. Back: Stylized exotic landscape in orange background and value "2" in all four angles. The wording "BANQUE DE LA REUNION" in the middle and the words "ISSUE AUTHORIZED BY DECREE OF OCTOBER 8, 1942". Below, the value in letters "DEUX FRANCS". 50,000 issued bonds. Known copy unsigned. Proof of the back in orange without the texts. No known specimens.
