Description
Switzerland. State Loan Bank of Swiss Federation. (Schweizerische Eidgenossenschaft). Issue of 1915. The banknote is dated 27-04-1915 but will never be issued. Printer: Art Institute Orell Füssli AG, Zurich. Dimensions: 105 x 65 mm. No watermark. No security thread. Front and back: predominantly yellow-orange and red-brown print. On the front: frame composed of rosettes and ornaments. On a yellow background, the issuer and the values in letters are printed in black and in three languages: German, French and Italian. The issue date and signatures are also printed in black. The value "2" is repeated three times in rosettes on the sides. In the center at the top, the Swiss cross in white is placed on a gray coat of arms in a medallion. Two types of signatures with the Director of the Federal Finance Department Giuseppe Motta and the Federal Treasurer E. Henzer. On the back: orange-yellow motifs with rosettes and red-brown ornamentation with the value "2" repeated in the corners. In the center, the value "2" roughly inside an oval whose outline contains the text "State Loan Bank of Swiss Federation" written in two languages: French and Italian.
