The numbering, signature and surcharge "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON" are printed in black. The "CONTRE-VALEUR DE 2 NOUVEAUX FRANCS" surcharge is printed in red at the watermark location. On the left, portrait of La Bourdonnais, French navigator of the eighteenth century and on the right two women in traditional costume. One signature: The Director General: A. Postel-Vinay. Back: Female bust in profile wearing jewelry in front of a mountainous landscape of Martinique. On the left, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in a red cartridge. The surcharge "SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON" is repeated twice in black. Specimen of the issued note signed and numbered O.0 - 00000 with "SPECIMEN" diagonally perforated at the center of the note and two vertical wet black pads on the sides.
