Text prohibiting the counterfeiting of banknotes at the bottom center. Combinations of signatures with an Administrator and The Chairman: Firmin Peigneux / Hector Martin. Description of the back: monochrome printing in green. Decorative frame composed of rosettes. Texts in French. Value "20" in the corners and in the center of a large rose window. Rare.
Note: this banknote overprinted in red "GOUVERNEMENT KATANGA" on the front and back of a banknote from the Banque d'Émission du Rwanda et du Burundi was not found in good condition. The visual illustration therefore corresponds to a banknote from Rwanda and Burundi without the overprint for Katanga!
