Switzerland. Swiss National Bank (Schweizerische Nationalbank). Seventh issue (1983-1985). Banknote created in 1984 but not issued and kept in reserve. Work of Roger and Elisabeth Pfund. Printer: Art Institute Orell Füssli AG, Zurich. Dimensions: 148 x 70 mm. Unknown watermark. Unknown security thread. Front and back: Multicolored print predominantly green and blue. Front: multicolored graphic background. Above, quartz crystals. On the right, a portrait of the Geneva physicist, geologist and naturalist "Horace-Bénédict de Saussure (1740-1799)". The SNB's translation texts are printed in blue on the front and in two languages: French and Italian. The number value "20" is printed in dark blue and very large in the thumbnail and repeated four times in small in purple and green. On the outside of the sticker, the two blue dots in relief are intended to facilitate the recognition of the note by the blind. The signatures are printed in cyan. Two variants of signatures with the President of the Bank Council and the Director. On the back: multicolored graphic background with a view of the Chamonix valley and the Mont Blanc massif. In the foreground, a humidity measuring device (called a hair hygrometer) and in a square, a representation of the expedition to the Tacul glacier. The value in digits "20" is repeated four times in small in purple and green. In the thumbnail at the top and bottom and on the sides, the SNB texts are printed in blue in three languages: German, French and Italian. No specimens or proof notes known to date.
