Guernsey. States of Guernsey. 1980 Issues. British Administration. Undated note. Dimensions: 160 x 90 mm. Watermark: seal of the Bailiwick shield pattern. Printer: Thomas de La Rue (TDLR), London. Solid security thread. Material: paper. Full color front and back print, mainly red, green and brown. Description of the front: security background composed with patterns of Guernsey lilies. On the left, a crown of olive branches frames the Bailiwick seal. In the center, a view of the Saumarez park located in the parish of Sainte-Marie-du-Câtel. Texts in English, guilloche patterns. The numbering and signature are printed in black. Two combinations of signatures with The Treasurer. Back description: predominantly red print. In the center, a view of English warships in the Bay of Gibraltar on July 12, 1801. On the right, a portrait of the Lord de Saumarez in military uniform. No specimen known for Type. Replacement note with Z series.
