Bank of Guyana. No date (1874). First issue in 1901. Work of Cornouailles for the front and Georges Duval for the back. Dimensions: 186 x 102 mm. Print in blue green and black on the front and red on the back. Watermark with the value "25" repeated twice over the signatures. Front: vignette printed in blue green with cornucopias and symbolic motifs. On the right, the strain in English typography is cut out. Six variants of signatures with The Director, The Cashier and One of the Censors. The value "25", the numbering, the alphabet and the signatures are printed in black. Article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in white in two black medallions. Back: red printed vignette composed of lush vegetation that frames a rowing boat symbolizing the Republic and decorated with fruits and flowers. In the background, we guess the bay of Saint-Pierre. Two types of specimens: unsigned specimen # 1 and numbered O.0-000. Specimen # 2: canceled banknote numbered G.4-837. Alphabets found: S.3-551, Q.3, G.4-837, V.4-609, Y.4 and J.6.
