Bank of Guyana. No date (1927). First issue in 1933. Work of Clément Serveau. Dimensions: 150 x 96 mm. Watermark with portrait of Colbert seen in profile. Multicolored front and back printing. Front: vignette composed of a wreath of flowers and in the center a woman holding in her hand a branch of laurels. Cornucopia with exotic fruits and Article 139 of the Penal Code at the bottom of the note on the right. Numbering, alphabet and signatures are printed in black. Values and "Bank of Guyana" are printed in blue green. Six Signature Variants with Director, Cashier and Censor. Back: a lush forest in the foreground and a commercial vessel at anchor in a bay. Specimen with blue stamp on issued note (D.12-924, U.17-757). Complete proof without watermark, without numbering and without signatures. Uniface proof of back without watermark. Known proof in two pieces with woman's bust and landscape separated front and back.
