Bank of Martinique. No date (1927). First issue in 1930. Multicolored front and back printing. Work of Clément Serveau. Dimensions: 150 x 96 mm. Watermark with portrait of Colbert seen in profile. Front: Vignette composed of a wreath of flowers and in the center a woman holding in her hand a branch of laurels. Cornucopia with exotic fruits and the article 139 of the Penal Code at the bottom of the bill. Numbering, alphabet and signatures are printed in black. Values and "Bank of Martinique" are printed in dark red. Back: A lush forest in the foreground and a commercial vessel at anchor in a bay. Four variants of signatures with The Director, The Cashier and A Censor. Complete proof without watermark, without numbering and without signatures. Uniface proof of back without watermark.
