On the front: frame of oak leaves and laurel leaves in blue, green and red. In the center, a young African woman poses from the front against a background of orange oak leaves. Above in the center frame in brown in a blue cartouche, the issuing institute "BANQUE DE L'AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE (BANK OF WEST AFRICA)". On the right, location of the watermark in a circle decorated with a border of yellow flowers. The value "25" is printed in brown in yellow boxes in the upper corners. The numbering, date and signatures are printed in black. Two variants of signatures with the President and the Chief Executive Officer.
