Description of the front: Front and back printing predominantly brown and tan. Background with two rosettes: a large rosette with the name of the bank, the value in letters and the DNB bank monogram. At left, a rosette in yellow with value 25 at center. Signatures in brown. Young girl at right, a painting "The Girl in Blue" by Johannes C. Verspronk (1597-1662). Signatures: Directeur, Westerman Holstijn / President, Trip. Description of the back: Gray and brown. Large rosette with the text of Law. Series letters and banknote number are printed in dark brown. Value 25 at 2 corners. At left, Amsterdam with date in brown. The specimen is known overprinted diagonal in red on front and back. The banknote is known perforated horizontally "INGETROKKEN".
