Italy. Banca d'Italia. 1915-1926 Issues. Work by E. Federici. Dimensions: 148 x 96 mm. Watermark: head of Minerva in profile. Printer: Officina Banca d'Italia di Roma. No security thread. Material: paper. Full color front and back print, predominantly brown, black, blue and red. Description of the front: security background in brown. Frame with repeating patterns. The watermark on the left in an oval. On the right, a head of Minerva in profile in an octagonal medallion and above an eagle holding a banner in its claws. In the center, a seal in red with the head in profile of Italia. Texts in Italian. The numbering is printed in red and the signatures are printed in black. Two combinations of signatures with The Managing Director and The Cashier. Back description: blue security background composed of repeating graphic patterns. On the left, a head of Minerva in profile in an oval medallion and the watermark in an oval on the right. In the center, the value “25” in large numbers and at the bottom, a seal containing the mention in red DECRETO / MINISTERIALE / DEL 30 LUGLIO / 1896. The article of the law is printed in blue in the margin. No specimen known for Type.
