Printer: Banco de España. Intro: 00.07.1900. Front and back printing in blue, green and brown-red. Texts in Spanish. Description of the front: small floral frame with the value "VEINTICINCO" on the upper edge and the value "25" in opposite angles. From top to bottom: the red numbering repeated three times, the issuing institute "EL BANCO DE ESPAÑA", the words "Pagará al portador (will pay to the bearer)", the watermark on the right, the value in letters "VEINTICINCO PESETAS" , then the place and date of issue. Three signatures in blue and black. A single combination of signatures with El Gobernador (The Governor), El Interventor (The Comptroller) and El Cajero (The Cashier). On the left, a portrait of the Spanish writer, Francisco de Quevedo y Villegas (1580-1645). Counterfoil on the left with “BANCO DE ESPAÑA” in vertical. Description of the back: frame composed of floral shapes. The watermark on the left and below the value "25 PESETAS". In the center, a medallion with a profile portrait of helmeted Athena.
