Put into circulation: 04.03.1907. Full color front and back printing, predominantly black, purple, orange, green and blue. Texts in Spanish. Description of the front: frame composed of small patterns and rosettes with the value "25" in the corners. In the center at the top, the issuing institute "EL BANCO DE ESPAÑA" printed in black. Below, "Pagará al portador (will pay to the bearer)", the value in words "VEINTICINCO PESETAS", the place and the date of issue. In the center, a blue rosette with the value "25". The banknote number is printed in red. On the left, a young woman seated (allegory of Poetry) with a lyre at her feet. In the background, a coastal city in the country. The signatures are printed in black. A single combination of signatures with El Gobernador (The Governor), El Interventor (The Comptroller) and El Cajero (The Cashier). Back description: large rosette window with the coat of arms of Spain in the center. Texts in Spanish. The numbering is repeated four times in red. The specimen is known to be perforated "SPECIMEN" horizontally. Another type of specimen is known to be perforated "CANCELLED" horizontally. 28,000,000 issued notes.
