Watermark: No. Front and back: two-color printing, mainly yellow and black. On the front: black frame composed of abstract shapes. In the center, bust of young African woman in profile on a yellow security background with the title "BANQUE DE L'AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE (BANK OF WEST AFRICA)" in repetition. At the top in curved letters, the issuing institute "BANQUE DE L'AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE". The letter value is printed on the right and the numerical value on the left. The numbering and signatures are printed in black. A single type of signature with The Secretary General, Pierre Bourceret and The Comptroller General, Claude Bottin. On the back: carmine-red frame composed of abstract shapes. In the center, the value in figures in a rosette decorated on a light blue security background with the title "BANQUE DE L'AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE" in repetition.
