Guadeloupe and dependencies. Colonial Treasury. Decree of August 18, 1884. Second Type. Dimensions: 115 x 80 mm. Banknote with watermark "GUADELOUPE". Printing of wavy lines in blue on light green paper. Front: vignette composed of a double frame. The value in letters "CINQ FRANCS" is printed in the center and the number "000,000" of the bill is printed in black horizontally below. Two types of signatures with The Director of the Interior and The Treasurer-Payer. The signatures are handwritten in black, blue or purple. At the bottom, the mention "La contre-valeur en espèces est déposée au Trésor". No back, single note. No known specimens. A note is known with signatures and not numbered (pictured above). A single copy: 4780. Banknote very rare!
