Bank of Reunion. Vichy French Government. Issue of 1942. Dimensions: 72 x 55 mm. Banknote without watermark. Two-color front and back printing in black for text and light brown for background on thick white paper. Printer: Unknown. Front: Two francisques left and right above the value "0f.50". The wording "BANQUE DE LA REUNION" in the middle of the note and one signature printed with The Director: H. Poulet. Back: Stylized exotic landscape in brown background and the value "0f.50" in the four angles. The wording "BANQUE DE LA REUNION" in the middle and the words "ISSUE AUTHORIZED BY DECREE OF OCTOBER 8, 1942". At the bottom, the value in letters "CINQUANTE CENTIMES". 200,000 issued bonds. No known specimens.
