The note is dated by Decree of December 29, 1919. Monochrome front and back print, predominantly green. Texts in French. Description of the front: in the lower corners of the note, two columns each containing a medallion with the value "0.50" support a large arch on which two young women are leaning. The woman on the left is wearing a hat and is holding a book in her hands against a background of laurel leaves. The woman on the right carries paper documents against a background of oak leaves. In the center, the wording of the issuing institute "Chamber of Commerce of French Settlements in Oceania" and the date of the Order are printed in green. Below, it is indicated that the note is "Redeemable at sight in Bank Notes of Indo-China". The banknote number is printed in red or black. The Series (C) is printed in green on the left. Two combinations of handwritten signatures in blue, black or purple with The Secretary and The President. At the bottom, the banknote number and the Series (C) are printed again. Description of the back: guilloche frame with the value "0.50" written in squares located in the corners. In the center, a text of seven lines specifies that the Bank of Indo-China guarantees the emission by a deposit in notes equivalent to the total amount emitted by the Chamber of Commerce.
