No security thread. Watermark: woman's head. Printer: Bank of France. Front and back: multicolored blue and brown print. Description on the front: floral composition background with a Madagascan woman wearing a straw hat. The texts are in French. The front is overprinted "COMOROS" in red horizontally. The wording of the issuing institute "BANQUE DE MADAGASCAR ET DES COMORES" and the value in letters are printed in dark green. The numbering and signatures are printed in black. Two variants of signatures are known with The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and The Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Description of the back: texts in French. Frame of floral composition and decorative geometric shapes. In the center, a young Madagascan wearing a beret. In the background, a pirogue and a village by the sea. The article of the law is printed on three lines in a blue frame.
