State Bank of Morocco. American impressions. Printer: E.A. Wright Bank Note Co. of Philadelphia. Dimensions: 170 x 105 mm. No watermark. Front print in brown and black on white paper. Front: A graphic composition of columns and windows opening onto a view of the Oudaïas in 1642 (identical to the note Pick # 40). All texts are printed in black. The value in figures is repeated twice in the columns on the sides. The mention "State Bank of Morocco" is arranged on a line at the top. The value in letters and the article of law are placed in a cartridge at the bottom. Back: Print in dark green and yellow. A thick frame composed of abstract and floral figures with two large stars of David arranged in medallions on the sides. All texts are printed in dark green. The three signatures are printed in the center. The value in figures is repeated twice in the corners at the top. The specimen is known with an oblique red overprint "SPECIMEN" on the front and back. The banknote is dated 1-8-43 and numbered "A1-000". Copies seen: "A1-169, A1-215, A1-222, A1-235". Another known specimen with overprint of a red stamp on the front and back, dated and numbered A1-000. Another known specimen overprint three times "SPECIMEN" in oblique red on the front and back, dated 1-3-44 but not numbered.
