Issuing Institute of French Equatorial Africa and Cameroon. Banknote issued in 1957 but undated. Work of Pierre Munier and engraving of R. Beltrand for the front and V. Baudier for the back. Dimensions: 115 x 75 mm. Printer: Bank of Algeria. Watermark composed of a girl's face Sango (Oubangui). Front and back: multicolored printing. Front: The issuing institute "Issuing Institute of French Equatorial Africa and Cameroon", the value in figures and letters are printed in blue. Numbering and signatures are printed in black. On the left, a Cameroonian girl picking coffee cherries. Two types of signatures: The President, Georges Armand Gautier and The Director General, Claude Panouillot. Back: Two young men working on floating tree trunks on a river with a forest in the background. At the bottom of the back left, article 139 of the Penal Code is printed in a yellow cartridge. Specimen of issued note numbered O.0 - 00000 with "SPECIMEN" perforated vertically on the right side of the bill and a specimen number is affixed in black on two lines. Copies seen: 0001, 0006, 0031, 0032, 0090, 0142. Another identical specimen with a black wet pad affixed obliquely to the front. Non-watermarked known test. Printing proofs of various colors on the back are also known, as well as single-sided and large format single-sided photographic prints from Pierre Munier's studio.
